Dr Kaval Patel

Kaval Patel started working at e-LINE in 2010 as an associate and in 2017 he became the director and principal orthodontist.
Kaval graduated dentistry from GKT (Guys & Kings College) in 2004. He has a Masters in Orthodontics (Singapore) and Periodontics (Germany) and he is on the GDC Specialist Orthodontic List. Kaval’s special interests are in surgical orthodontics, corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery) and multidisciplinary orthodontics (working with other disciplines of dentistry to get the optimal aesthetic results).
Dr Carmen Costea

Carmen graduated in dentistry from University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca (Romania) in 2009 and she has a Masters (2014) and a PHD (2018) in Orthodontics. Soon after finishing her doctorate, she has moved to London and has started working at e-LINE.
Carmen is on the GDC Specialist Orthodontic List and heads the development of new treatments within the clinic.
Her specialist interest is the Temporomandibular (Jaw) joint, its relationship to the bite and its implications in the day to day orthodontic treatment planning.
Dr Matthew Chung

Matthew acquired his dental degree from the University of Liverpool. Following this he spent the next few years developing his skills by working in dental practice, community dental services, and various dental hospitals across the country. In this time, he had the opportunity to immerse himself in all dental specialties which has helped consolidate him into a well-rounded and versatile clinician.
He undertook his orthodontic speciality training at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute where he graduated with a masters by research before being inducted as a specialist with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
Matthew frequently attends courses and conferences to stay updated with contemporary orthodontic treatments to provide the best care for his patients. He also values the importance of giving back to communities through dental volunteering programmes. A particular highlight was his trip with Mercy Ships to Senegal which has inspired him to pursue further missionary trips.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys travelling, and exploring new restaurants and cafes.
